PA mini meet today!

Thanks to DJ, Howard, Pete and Kevin for your help with getting the bed off my truck, prep work for the POR15 and the POR15 painting itself. I only got 6 pics, my cell died but I am sure the other guys got some pics too.

Bed overload reinforcement.

They are used on body lifted trucks. I have them, but the shop did the crappiest welding (looks like boogers holding them on)

I plan on taking my bed off as well, and re-welding them.

Yeah I dont have many but I will load some up. I couldnt finish it all, prep time took a bit. We wire wheeled everything, cleaned it with purple power and rinsed, dried and then painted

There was alot more than you think. Everytime I laid under my truck the crap fell like rain lol

I have been kind of researching it for a while now. Last year I stripped the whole undercarriage and painted it with VHT chassis paint. The road salt of one winter took it all off. After looking around and trying to find the best thing for it, it came down to the POR15. It seals rust, Hardens and is supposed to leave a gloss finish. It goes on real well and for all we did today, we didn't even a quarter gallon. I can't wait to see it dry!

I see. Are you gonna do the front part of the frame? I would assume you would leave the cab on and just do as much as you can?

I just went to see if the POR15 dried and it has. Hardened and sealed, feels like smooth glass!!! It even has a wet look gloss to it. I am very impressed!!

Yeah I am doing everything. It's in the garage now so I can take my time with it. If it comes to jacking the cab up to get it, I'm doing it because you should see it shine now!! I am very happy with it
