You have hook the strap to something. The ring the clevis is on might be ok but we'll figure it out

 

the rings are tuff son guns so they will be good...this convo might be waste of time, might not even get stuck

 

Pat, I'd remove the hitch and use the strap inside the box using the hitch pin if it were me... I trust that more than the rings, but thats just cause I can't see how they are mounted...

they are welded on and super strong so they are good but if there is enuff rope i would wrap it around the actual hitch itself.
