Hi, from NC!
Steve here, in central NC. I bought a '97 XL Standard Cab 2WD a couple of weeks ago and am still going through fluid changes, tuneup, general cleaning and getting my VHF/UHF ham rig installed.
I bought this to have an efficient work vehicle for hauling large items, mulch, etc. as well as my small bass boat as well as serve as a "spare car". The other two vehicles in the family currently are my '96 Miata and an '08 Nissan Altima.
I've got a few repair items to go through first, then will probably start hunting for bucket seats. I'm not going to trick it out much, just enjoy it for what it can do for me.

There are certainly more than a few Rangers around here, too, though. Thanks for the warm welcome.
Ryan, my son lives in Raleigh;
Taylor, sometime I pass through, but I'm usually going to or from the beach ;-)
Troy, we'll be in your neck of the woods later this summer when we go to OKI.
I'm gonna try and get out fishing this weekend. Too bad I missed the spawn again this year but maybe I'll catch something...
