Just picked up a 98 Ranger XLT Stepside about 2-3weeks ago. It's got 142k, matching black tonneau cover, and is power everything! No rust anywhere on the truck, and it's pretty damn clean!! It has the 2.5l in it, also an auto.
This would be my first Ford I've ever owned, and so far I like it. Gas mileage could be a bit better, but she needs a little work. Shocks definitely need replaced sooner than later, but after that probably a complete tune-up, and maybe a K&N FIPK kit.
