Glad to find this site (I hope!)

Hello, I have a '92 4x4 ext cab 4.0 manual with 189+K. Just recently, I replaced the inner and outer front bearings. Now, the right side tries to slip into 4x4 within 0.1 mi after I start it moving from an engine off mode. I push the dash 4x4 switch, it engages, I push it again, and it disengages with no further slipping.
This happened once or twice before I changed bearings also (but not as regularly as now). The dash module light (indicating it's engaged) would glow faintly at times also. I've swapped modules and it is doing the same thing.
Anyone experience anything similar?
Thanks in advance.......SpEd

Although there were no responses, the problem is solved. Turns out the automatic hub had a bad bearing. Put in manual hubs, seems to have fixed it.
