Hello everyone. My name is Gary and I live just north of Toronto in Canada. Originally from Newfoundland though. So if you know any Newfie jokes, bring em on. I love em.:)
My toy is a 1990 Ranger 4x4. One day I saw an ad for sale for a 429 and I mentioned to my father how much fun that would be. He said I was crazy and it couldn't be done. I researched it and it has been (www.BigBlockRanger.com
). So then he says it'll be useless cause I won't be able to keep gas in it.:) Soooo... I figured I'd go real funky with it and try my hand at EFI. Best way to get good gas mileage.
First I needed to beef up the driveline. I swapped in a set of '79 Bronco axles. For anyone who's debating this, it drives awesome, just get F150 axles instead for the adjustability.
Here's a pic of the truck as it is now:
Now as for the Engine. It's a 1971 429 from a Lincoln Town Car. I have Eagle rods, diamond pistons, Ford Racing SCJ heads, GM LS coils, Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake and a comp XR274H solid roller cam custom ground for Speed density EFI (AEM EMS). Oh and if you checked out www.BigBlockRanger.com
... I have those headers once he parted the truck.:)

Any questions or comments feel free to throw em my way.
