my 05 Ford Ranger 4.0
I bought my 05 Ranger 4.0 xl 2 wheel drive long bed in 2010 it's a basic work truck, and paid it off in 2012 it came from Louisiana it was a Brinks home security installation truck well maintained and taken care of. Igot it for ten grand with 77,000 miles blew the motor up at 115 thousand miles plastic timing chain guides broke & destroyed itself. I rebuilt the engine & put it back in. Bought edge performance tuner programmed computer for maximum horsepower Plus 500 rpm shifts more than stock, installed K&N cold air ram air. Installed40 series flowmaster mufflers, true dual pipes, cut 3Rd cat off it has no sensor so its legal and wont set a mil light, no tail pipes exhaust dumped at the cab underneath. Went to the junkyard today but a disc brake conversion hardware off of a 2001Mustang going to put it on my 05 Ranger today so I have better stopping power from going a hundred thirty five mph. Yep my truck is fast!!

ok I might of got over zealous about the 135, but I can tell you this she will go past 120 MPH my speedo Is 6pm off say 120 is actually 126mph I know I checked it at one of those radar signs In Humble, Texas by the Planet Ford dealer ship on a cold morning , dense cold air , I'm a junkyard nut looking for a super charger now from a Pontiac Bonneville & i can get the adapter bracket dirt cheap. The pulley set is costly. I haven't put my girl on a dyno yet I'm not done w her I worked on my rear disc brake conversion today, getting the park brake cables to work w the stock mustang holes didn't work very, I have to fab a bracket to get them to work I'll do it in the morning, it's going to be nice stopping better! Going to Pyle brothers in Baytown, Texas to get my Auburn posi chunk sometime tomorrow , and I'm Gona ratio change from 3.55 to 3.73. Thinking about buying a Tom Morona crate engine not sure yet 5,000.00 is a lot to spend right now but I'm saving up for that maybe, I'm more interested in the supercharger.
