Hey from the GTA, ontario
Hey,
Just joined the forums, and picked up my second ranger. I just got a '96 2WD Ext. Cab 5MT 3.0L truck, and owned an '89 2.9L 5MT 2WD Ext. Cab a few years ago. My first real vehicle was that ranger, and it went through everything. I got a couple things that I'll need to be sorting out, and hopefully i can find all the help I need here.

I basically just want to make sure it keeps going. I got a couple leaks that will get fixed after the winter most likely, once I pull my summer car out of the garage...and got that running properly again. Otherwise, I just need to replace a tail lamp (not a big deal at all), possibly a mirror which has a chunk missing out of it, and maybe bang out a dent in the door, and fender.
I just plan on using this truck as a daily driver to get me through school. Possibly afterwards, look into doing a 5.0L swap, or just keep the original 3.0L and see how far it will take me. It's currently at 267, 000.
I'm trying to find a cheap tonneau cover right now as well, so I can put my school bag in the bed, and not worry about it getting wet.
