Icon11 First ever Ford

Hi I'm Jim. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger. Never owned a non-GM vehicle. I sold Ford before. I needed a replacement for my TrailBlazer. I always wanted a truck. An SUV is not a truck. Tried full size Ford, Dodge. Really couldn't find one I liked. Also I didn't need that space. Use for driving only. Found a 2001 Ranger. Remembering selling them and knowing how they hold up. I bought 1. Has 155K miles. I love the little thing. I'm not a mechanic. I'm able to fix things on it. That is kinda fun. Just not happy with the speed limitor or govenor on it. Cruel joke to me.

Thank you CARID. Really is fun. Maybe fog lights and window tint. Trying for a stock look. It is the flare side version. I need to replace the instrument cluster lights. I need to adjust the shift wire. Putting the shifter on the current gear choice. Nice that it came with exhust MOD. Basically O2 sensor in front of CAT. Then after CAT into a Cherry Bomb glass pack muffler. With the small V6. It sounds nice not really loud. It passes emissions the way it is. So I can replace those parts and still be good. Need to hit it with some rustolium to not loose the shape of the CAT. Many happy miles to you. Looking forward to the snow. New experience without weight over rear wheels.
