make a signature so we know what you are driving. older 3rd gen w/ TTB is more bolt in then a newer 4th gen w/ IFS.

dodge went do drivers side drop in the 90's so it could be made to work... but the long side tube has a disconnect as well as a 2 piece shaft. some people could live with that but others would retube it and throw in a single shaft. they run unit bearings instead of spindles so no lockouts. and a spin tec is over a grand. it could be made to work if your not concerned with these things but id rather find a late 70's ford d44.

by the sounds of it you plan on running the dodge links and coils. the coils would be too heavy for a ranger and a 4 link is hard to setup because of the limited space. with the ford d44 you could just run leafs and throw on a track bar for road manners. much easier to set up than a link type suspension and fine for MOST wheeling

Welcome to RF!

This swap will take PLENTY of fabrication and a knowledge of suspension angles and stuff like that.

Do tons of research before buying anything so you will know what you are getting into.
