Newb from Iowa
Hello!
Bought my first Ranger about 3 weeks ago, and have already learned a lot from creeping around on the boards. Thought I should get around to introducing myself. My name is Nate and I'm from Des Moines, IA. My truck is a 2000 XLT, red sidestep or styleside, whatever its called, 4wd with the 3.slow, 5 spd. Love it. I traded an 89 Chevy 1500 for it and haven't thought twice about it. I've already done the explorer OHC mod, and have just a few more to do in the interior before it's all said and done. Would like to lift it, but also have to convince my wife that it's worth it :)
I look forward to being an active member on the site.

Thanks Semaj, I am too used to being the only Iowan on any message board....and thank you everyone else for the warm welcome, it's quite refreshing to be on a board where people actually try to help instead of just ridicule.
Here's a few more pics I took today, sorry for the bad quality, can't find my digital right now so these were taken with my phone
The only mod I've done so far is the Explorer OHC (Great write up on here BTW). I just bought an FX4 shifter and **** so that will be going in next, along with my mysteriously missing 4x4 Off Road stickers. After that I'm planning on swapping some power leather Explorer buckets and a full length Explorer center console. I'd also like to swap on a powerdome hood (like everyone else without one) and do a 01+ front end conversion. That along with a new roof skin (Tree fell on it after an ice storm before I bought it), new passenger fender and bedliner.

I strongly considered cutting my 60/40's, but they're close to being trashed. The previous owner didn't take very good care of the interior and the seats are really dirty. I've tried cleaning them up, but they're stained and I'm not a huge fan of seat covers. If I can find them at my local yard, just buying expo seats would be cheaper than having my stocks recovered or professionally cleaned
