Anyway had my 2006 standard cab, longbed for 2 years now and only done about 1500 miles on it. Biggest trip was from OC to Paradise, Ca to pick up a mc I bought. That was purpose for buying truck - hauling new acquisitions or picking up injured or dead bikes. I have 4 bikes and my daughter one so lots of chances to use truck I thought. Actually bikes have been pretty reliable so truck is not used much. Comes in handy for Home Depot stuff though.
Already profited from the forum when I checked out how to replace my rear window with a slider.
Got old window out. Would have been tricky without all the tips and suggestions by forum members who have gone before.
Do have a question though. What do you call the sticky black stuff? Is it butyl or urethane? Some of the posts had me a little confused so wanted to make sure before I go buy some. And what's the best stuff to get it off the truck and my hands?
