New guy from Wyoming

Lets see, my name is Cody. I live in Wyoming, work at McDonalds, I'm 16. I wrestle at 125lbs for my school. I'm buying my first Ranger tomorrow for $250. It's an '87 Ranger 4x4 auto trans, 2.9L V6, brush guard, red interior, white exterior. Your probably wondering why the cost is so low. Well my dad runs Midas and some guy came in and had everything checked on and then couldn't afford anything for it so they kept the truck and its been sitting there for about 3 months now, so a few days ago (I've been looking for a truck for quite sometime) my dad called me and asked me if I was interested in the truck. I said yeah and we got the back story on it. The original owner sold it to a buddy (the guy who brought it into midas) for $300, the guy never paid him and took off. Well the original owner said he was going to just have it towed back to his house and my dad asked if he would take $250 for it, he said yes and here we are. The guy is looking for the title tonight and I'm hauling it to my dads house after work tomorrow. So far it needs a new battery, new ignition switch, and it will be needing new tires soon. I'm pretty stoked, and its also missing a piece that I don't even know the name of, I'll post a pic of it.

And there is my truck, sorry for the crappy pic.

Yeah, the entire middle piece that houses the horn, what is that called? I'm planning on putting a 4" suspension and a 3" body lift to house some 33's, I'm also going to cut out the fenders and will probably install some bushwhacker fender flares.
