Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I'd just like to introduce myself. This is my first Ford vehicle. I use to have Tacoma's and swore by them as my 93' Toyota had 580,885 Miles on it but when the time was near to buy a "newer" Tacoma I found myself in a financial crisis as they want your dog, both arms and a foot for a used Tacoma. So my neighbor had his 2002 Edge 4.0L 4x4 for sale and after humming and hawing I bought it. I love the truck and am very pleased with it! The ride is ten times better than any Tacoma! And I'm loving the power!

I have also joined the "FordRangerForums" and I have posted my future plans for the truck there. Here is a copy and paste of what I plan to do!

here is my 2002 Edge.

I'm going for a Baja style nothing too fancy but something that will look good down the highway. Or just some nice tires and rims for a aggressive stance like the Ford Raptor . I don't think I'll invest in a lift kit for this truck I like the look of a 31-32 inch tire on a stock suspension, however anything is possible.

What has been done so far:

-I have re-painted my brake calipers red.
-I have re-painted my front bumper blue.
-I have dyed my front grill black.
-I have bought a set of BFG All-Terrain 31X10.5 (used).

My future plans:

-Window tint my back windows black & both passenger windows a lighter tint of black.
-Purchase a nice set of wheels I am currently interested in the Ion Alloy 174 bead lock simulated wheel for the aggressive look.
- Purchase a smoked black set of head lights.
- Purchase a set of off road shocks ( I'm looking into the Rancho shocks)



Let me know what you guys think and your input of modifications is always welcome along with photos of your trucks wheel and tire combination! (Blue trucks are helpful) as I am still not 100% sure of how the truck would look with 31's and the Ion 174 wheel. let me know!
