Hi from the snowy north!

Hi all. Glad I found this forum. I live in N Wi and we had 20" of snow yesterday. My 88 Ranger plow truck is slipping and leaking tranny fluid from the front of it. Doesn't look like one of the lines so thinking seal?? Have a Haynes manual but doesn't tell much at all. Glad to be aboard!

If your tranny is slipping and leaking. On top of being used as a plow truck, I think your transmission might be on its way out, or already there.

Welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the great welcome folks! I flushed out the trans with 12 quarts, put in a new filter and it seems ok (fingers crossed). Snow is on it's way out with this "HOT" weather! It's absolutely gorgeous up here. Most unusal for March in N Wi. 60* today and 72 on saturday! Lovin' it but I doubt seriously I'm done with the plow truck. This won't last! Up here, we're not really out of the woods til May.
