how to get fog lights on my ranger

ok so currently i have a 1999 ranger XLT. it doesnt have fog lights and i was wondering if i could buy the front bumer with fog lamps and put it on my truck. If any of you could tell me where to get it and how much it would cost that would be awesome. thanks guys

Try looking in u-pull scrap yards... If you want it new, check out LMC truck and Rockauto.
Also, if you want the fogs to work like factory, you will need to buy the OEM switch, or else, you can just wire in a aftermarket switch.
For the wiring, do not forget to wire in a relay. This will protect your fogs, the wiring, the switch and the truck as a whole. If you need, I could draw up a diagram of how to wire the relay

ya but my bumper doesnt have the holes for fog lights

In those years, the fog light were added onto the bumper by adding a inferior plastic valance.

Happily, I did a quick search on the internet, found the exact schematic I used to wire my off-road lights


The switch you use, may or may not have a ground on it. The one in the diagram does, since it has an intergrated LED
