Bought a 94 Ford Ranger with 112k on it with the 2.3. I'm already calling it a curse lol.
Broke down 3 times on the trip up from Florida. 6hr trip back took 10hrs didn't get home till 6am. First thing that happend is the truck wouldn't restart after shutting it off think its the fuel filter filled the truck up and it fired right up. Then after that 30min experience and getting it started it didn't want to move anywhere (5spd) Slave cyl decided to stick half way and wouldn't release so an hr later some brake fluid and wd-40 it was free enough to drive. After this experience we finnally get on the road 2hrs down the road the temp starts to rise no blown hoses rad is full but with water and 6 months of sitting with water=rust so we stop in a gas station and flush the system in their lot so much crap came out it was insane put some coolant and water back in no more issues once we get home we notice one of the tires is starting to seperate.
Well atleast the engine will run forever lol.
