Just joined.

I'm Cory from south Florida. I bought a 2001 Ranger Edge 4x2 back in February 2013. I have decided that I will be keeping this truck and I have plans. Starting with a small lift and opening up the 3.0 a little. Hopefully next year it'll be a 4x4.

Might be easier, if your really intend to go 4x, just to buy one and forget the swap.
Some of the frame differences can be a lot to overcome.
Hold off on mod’g unless you are talking a SAS then not sure how things go on a 2x.
