multiple owner offender
I own 4 rangers all 4 cylinder 5spd, each with its own things to like or not.
First a 97 so base, has vinyl flooring and no power steering. My first and gave me 8 yrs and 90k and was a learning vehicle for maintain repairs, before finding out about evil hydraulic clutches. The 94 was a fantastic bargain in overall good shape when bought 2yrs ago, but is now sidelined by fuel pump or computer problem. Next 97 was perfect at first glance, but the frame and electrical problems and hacked together parts have made this an emergency use vehicle until it's parted out. The 2003 supercab is actually somewhat better than I had hoped for a $300 running driving truck. This one runs well, quiet exhaust, new front brakes and non problem electrical system. It has crusty bottom couple inches all over, but fairly solid frame, but still some paint shine. The biggest problems were hood latch and bad front wheel bearing, next is to replace the bed which you can see shake in the mirror. Other small issues will be as time permits or as needed basis. Two priorities are working cd player, and rip out the door chime by the root as it chimes drivers door open with no key in.
Not to insult but I am not here to make them ranger beautiful or high
performance, but to gain insights into common ranger problems that others have experienced and found the fix. Thats it guys, thanx for the ear.

New to Here
Just bought this 2003 Tremor. Man this things rocks. So happy to dig out all my 80's cassettes. The $1.96 E85 beats the $2.49. been raised in the front and someone stuck a 4:10 locker in the rear. No wonder this thing moves. I have never seen or heard of the Tremor before. The salesman/owner said the closest register owner is a 1,000 miles away. wow.

Just bought my first ranger
I'm new to the ranger community but not the truck community. Just bought a 2000 xlt supercab 4x4. Needed some work but its now running and driving great. Started the fun upgrades. New head unit, front speakers, new headlight housings,
and led pods to replace the fog lights
