My 1996 Ranger is driven by a little old lady (me)

Hello, Ranger fans. I am new to the forum, I may eventually learn enough to upgrade my ride since it has been so good to me. I bought it new in 1996 and it has 150,000 km (90,000 miles) on it. I do not drive it only on Sundays however.....

It is in pretty good shape, one small dent from some dork in a parking lot who hit and ran, but the most horrible thing is the front bumper. It is totally rusted out and I can't seem to track down a used one in my area (Calgary, AB, Canada). Was this a common problem for the '96?

What kind of coinage am I looking at for a new one? It's in pretty rough shape so I don't think it can be repainted.

I am going to do some reading here, already interested in upgrading to power windows, maybe do a little work on the thing each year. I'm sure it's going to last me 15 more probably....

Does it have to be the same year, or is there a range?

Welcome aboard.. It appears from your pic that you may need to either straighten or get new bumper brackets.. You'll know more when your new one comes in..

Our mechanic put her up on the hoist and had a good look, he thinks he can just straighten it out. Can't wait for my chrome, I'll be sure to post a pic !
