Career?/finishing School?
Hey guys,
Im quite new to this forum, and came in search of SAS questions from RPS. Im currently in the process of trying to decide whether I should finish school or try get my foot in the door and start a mechanic type career. My dream is to own my shop like Ballistic Fabrication and build extreme 4x4 products and Vehicles.
Im 100% positive that this is exactly what I want to do, but not sure how to get there. I need advice and opinions, from others trying or have done this. I was considering Wyotech and UTI of course i think like many others. Recently I have talked to engineers and have read people who have went have been disappointed and still broke from financing there way through school. My plans include marriage and family somewhere down the line and need to support a family.
GUys I would love any help or suggestions you can throw my way! Thanks for the responses IN ADVANCE.

I agree with 04blackedge, finish school. And not just a trade school. Get at least a four year degree. Trade school educations limit you. I'm talking from experience here. I have a trade school diploma and I don't even work in that field. I have a decent job, but in this company there is a stigma against people without college degrees. Sorry for ranting, just stay in school. The career will follow.
