Icon10 New Here looking for info and help with issues :)

Just here to find some info on how to get a 91 Pro Street ranger to stop over heating.
We just purchased it and it cant set in traffic or poof! Over 200* right now!
We just ordered a larger dual 11" Fan set up that flows 2750cfm of air (Biggest ones we could fit in the truck as a puller fan set up) Wanted way more CFM but dont have the room for it

Anyway This is my 2nd ranger I had a 93 splash way way back in 1996 with a 3.0 and a 5 speed and now just picked this one up only because I knew the guy that did the Pro Street part of the truck and he spent a ton of $ doing It. I purchased it with issues as the the guy I got the truck from screwed up the Engine install and just wanted out from under it.

It has a way to small fuel line running to the carb -4 and runs out of fuel and will not accelerate past 4300 RPM. So a new larger Pump and -8 line are all on the way plus a return style Reg. and larger -8 return line plus -8 from Reg. to carb and no goofy Fuel log thing.

Big one for me is getting it run at 180 or so any one know if you can block off the Bypass hoes so the coolant temp is controlled by the T-stat?

Have you tried a 2 speed electric fan out of a early 90's taurus? There is a how-to around here somewhere that show's how to wire it up.

Nope the big issue is there is only 3.35" from the Radiator to the Water pump pulley :( So we had to go with a Slim Line fan set up. Some one had said to use a Fan from a Mark 8 but when I got it the thing was like 5" Wide and wouldn't fit. Plus the Radiator is only 23" Wide and 15" Tall :( Plus its stuck inside the Core support and I mean inside it the Rad cap is in it and an extra one is stuck in the Rad hose going to the T-stat. Its a kinda goofy set up but it is the conversion one I have seen sold on Jegs and Summit for a Ranger V8 Swap.

Ill look up the Taurus one and see what the size is on it.
Thanks for the info
