Oh man how dumb. They don't come like that stock. Also ever heard of American rice? And no Imports don't fall apart. American cars fall apart.

You don't need an Import to be a ricer.

I just hate when people bring up "all Imports are ricers" statement. Same with Chevy vs Ford and all that other bs. I just think its so stupid. It just shows how ignorant some people can be.

Well my family has owned it all and every time Honda and Toyota outlasts everything else. We sold a 1978 Toyota Corona with 350K miles on it about 10 years ago. In the time that my uncle drove it all it needed was an alternator and a carb rebuild. As far as we know the new owner is still driving it today. My uncle gave his sis a 97 Honda Civic that has 140K on it and it runs like new. He replaced it with a bran new Accord with everything. The only import we have had a problem with was a 94 Mitsubishi 3000GT but Mitsubishi doesn't make very good cars unless you buy the right one.

Maybe your friends beat the hell out of their cars and never maintain them. Any car will break down if you don't maintain it.

you know what it boils down to? you think that imports are gods gift to gasoline, i think they are gods gift to junk yards... and neither of us are going to budge on that opinion, this is a pointless conversation, and i really have grown bored of it...

Except that your wrong. If taken care of a import will last longer with less problems. Its not opinion based, its fact.

Nope I don't really think Imports are gods. I'd drive anything. I'm just simply stating facts. You have grown tired of this conversation? Well. Like you had anything better to do anyway.

no, but it's frusterating to talk to someone who is as stubborn as I am, about something they as set in stone about as I am... it's like talking to a brick wall (i am sure you are thinking the same way)

Imports are nice but some people dont prefer them.....I agree with weezl they are just 4/6cyl tin cans in my oppinion and though they are good on gas that is all theyre really good for, but thats my oppinion. Now on to more important topics a lift and tires is a must but being you plan on driving it a 4" with 33" tires is all you'll need...as for 3.0l mods I would say a chip, cold air intake, and exhuast. Anyways thats my two cents good luck with everything. pce

Thats Cause Chrysler had their hand in it then... And what do you know nothing has changed with chrysler they are still crap and they rely on imports to help fix their problems.

Also a 4 banger Honda has got to be the easiest car to work on. seriously you can pull the head in like 10 minutes.

And the rice pictures... There is a car around my area with duel 6" tips on a Geo... His exhaust has more displacement than his motor and it sounds like a bunch of pissed off bee's.

And how many gauges and computers do you need to tell you your car is crap.

Kinda jumping in on this topic a bit...but if theres one thing I will say in defense of imports its movies like f&f where the main point of the cars is body kits wings rims and neons that give imports a bad name.....With that said somtimes it has nothing to do with the car itself some people just dont like them and people are entitled to that oppinion.

Ya got it backwards. 3000GT was all Mitsu. The Stealth was Mitsu's bastard child with that a nameplate but thats about it. If its a non turbo version they suck *** and are some slow *** pigs. Yes thats from personal ***-in-seat experience. Anyone I know thats owned a Mitsubishi has seldom had anything good to say about them.

Ive only owned Ford products, but i dont have a problem with import cars. I believe Honda and Toyota make fine enough cars and trucks. I DO believe they are SERIOUSLY overrated though. They still have problems like EVERY OTHER MAKE out there. Hell, my Uncle bought an 08 Tacoma brand new and the AC didnt work! Does that mean Toyotas are all a POS? nope. it just happens sometimes. Big deal.

Someone might have something personal against imports. Its opinion.
Someone might have gotten a lemon. Its not necessarily representative of the whole.
Other people might know some guy that had something go wrong on an XYZ brand car. Does that mean they ALL therefore suck? Nope.

So lets all just get over it already. Sheesh. Lets talk about weiner dogs again!!
