Newbie in Boise
Hi everyone. Thanks for being a part of this forum. I've researched a few items and have found the quality of information and willingness to share knowledge a welcome change from some other forums I am a member of.
Both of my sons have recently acquired Rangers. An '84/2wd/2.8 v6 and a '88/2wd/2.9 v6 XLT. Acquired from an estate conservator after a flood inundated the owner's property. Water got up to the welting on the seats but all electrical components have been professionally checked out and verified as good. They both run great. All fluids flushed twice, wheel bearings repacked, brakes gone through. Great driving little trucks.
I'll be posting a question related to the A4LD tranny my oldest son has in his '88 in the drivetrain section of the forum. Would appreciate as much help/assistance/knowledge you are willing to share. Thanks for having me, ---rick
