upgrade!
Hey nerds and nerdettes,
Some of you may remember I wrecked my truck in early July
This is the only pick I have of her. I didn't have a camera, just my Blackberry and it was pouring so that's why it's blurry. This pic doesn't do it justice.
So after a month of waiting I finally got a check from my insurance and got a new vehicle. I was eyeballing a few explorers but they were all outside of my price range. I didn't like any other Fords, but don't worry I kept it American... kinda ...I guess. At least it's not a Toyota.
I was a little reluctant to go after a JEEP because of recent bad press, but I did a lot of research and found out enough to satisfy me that this was good buy. I have had it almost a week, and I love it.
Actually the most disappointing thing about the jeep is that I've been searching for a decent Forum/community and nothing holds a candle to R-F

yeah my brakes locked up on me whilest it was pouring and I slid sideways and destroyed the truck. Almost choked to death on the airbag dust.
I'm on Jeepforums, but it's all 4x4 stuff and the actual WK board is very inactive. I just lurk on the srt8 board because those guys do the kind of mods I like. luxury comfort and sound/av

Cloth interior, but I have some nice Katzkins on their way
getting about 18mpg right now but will be going up slightly
The truck was fun for a bit, but having only 2 seats was so impractical. I also only used my bed about once every 3 or 4 months.
