HELLO TO ALL ENTHUSIAST !!
My introduction is relatively long, but I will keep it shot and sweet to the point. Been a Ford owner (restoring a 35' ford p/u)for a long time, and recently becoming a ford ranger enthusiast, and I must say"I DIG THIS SITE". My RANGER is a 1991 XLT, - 3.0L v6 ENGINE & MANUAL TRANNY, that i paid $500.00 for about 4 years ago. So know being over 20+ years old its parts are starting to wear out & fail on me. Since I have been into working on my own cars ( actually a journey man auto/body painter & fender man for a career) instead of sending my troubled work out to those overly priced shops. I enjoy doing the work myself, especially in the areas I dont have that much knowledge about.
THATS WHERE YOU GUYS FIT INTO MY LIFE, WITH THAT BEING SAID i HOPE TO GAIN & MAYBE EVEN GIVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OUT TO SOME PEOPLE.
I've started 1 post on troubled codes Im loooking for and have a couple more.
SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME AS I TRY EXPLAIN EVERYTHING CORRECTLY FOR THE BEST RESULTS.

Hi Ranger guy. I just joined too ! Got a 2008 4 banger with the 5 speed. Bought it a few days ago.

Man is this truck fun ! And Ford wasn't kidding with their " built Ford tough' slogan. Been a Ford guy all my life. Had a slew of Thunderbirds and Mustangs. ( got one of each now ).. and even the forgotten Ford, an EXP ! Good luck fixin up your beloved Ford truck. I love to hear about another old goodie being saved from the crushers. i did the same with my two Fieros !
