So I've begun the process of finding a ranger for offroading. I would prefer to buy an already modified 93-97 4.0 v6 4x4 truck but if I find a really cheap ranger then I'll have the money to build it myself. I want an already somewhat built one so that I can start wheeling right away. My search schedule is about a year-hoping to do next summer.

I don't care if the motor/tranny/axles/springs/differentials are blown or entirely missing (as long as the price reflects it) because eventually I would do a 5.0 swap with leaf sprung dana 60's and a doubler under the truck anyway. I'll be running 35-37 tires cutting the fenders and bedsides wherever needed. It will be an almost 100% trail/rock rig.
