Long time member - new ranger 2002 Ford Ranger FX4 (Level II) twin stick
Hi everybody. I've been a member here for quite a while but never really introduced myself.
I live in Welland (about 15 minutes from Niagara falls)
Back in march I picked up a nice clean 2002 Ford Ranger FX4 (Level II) twin stick.
I love this truck. Drives great. Runs great and looks great. The power of the 4.0 and the 4.10 gearing make it a lively truck to drive. It's easily tossable (fun and easy to drive) as compared to my last 3.0 ranger.
So far my only mods are 06-11 side market lights, a newer style 3rd brake light, a jeep rubicon autodim/compass/temperature mirror and remove some of the junk put on by the last owner (hood unabrow guard thing, and yellow fog light covers)
It has 32x11.5 tires on the stock alcoas.
My next mods are: 06-11 tail lights and polish the alcoas
My other rides are:
2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon (for top down/door off street driving only)
And a 1991 Mustang GT that runs high 11's. (never seen snow)
Looking for a winter beater for next winter possibly a ford escape or a Honda crv or a Toyota rav4. My last winter beater was a 98 Suzuki sidekick 4 door that I bought in 98 for $400 and sold in 2012 for $400. Great vehicle. Reliable and needed only oil changes the entire time I owned it.

thanks :) its still factory height. I don't off-road it. I used to take my lifted tracker on 34" tsl super swampers to behind GM by the locks in st-cath (blue ghost tunnel area), but the st.Lawrence seaway has erected some serious fences and put up some stern warnings about going back there now :( so I offed the tracker and got the jeep for tooling around town. It turns mundane trips into fun ones. Its like a big go-kart. The 4.11 gearing makes it a blast to drive too.
