New member from California. Bought a run down 2000, 2WD from a neighbor and have slowly been bringing it back to life. Google brought me to this forum to fix and door rattle and I decided to register. I am sure I will be asking more advice from this great community and will be posting my progress as I go.

 

Welcome to Ranger-Forums! You sure about the 2.3 in your 2000? Unless you put it in there it's probably a 2.5.
