New from State College, PA
Hey, just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I last year picked up a 2003 XLT with the 4.0l engine, auto, stepside bed and tonneau cover. Currently 61,000 miles on the clock. It's the truck I've wanted for a really long time. I hope to squeeze a good 10 years or more of use as a daily driver (2-3 mile daily commute), all-around utility and hauling vehicle, and for some mild off-road fun.
A lot of work has been done to the truck in the first year I've owned it. I installed a Reese hitch, and located a bedliner for free thanks to the kindness of a member on another forum. I've replaced the stock stereo with a Kenwood unit that accomodates my iPod. The catalytic converter was replaced last winter, thankfully under warranty. This spring I rebuilt the front brakes and replaced the brake hoses. I recently replaced all four shocks with KYB pieces. Currently I am rebuilding the front suspension and steering with all Moog parts. Then it's off for an alignment, state inspection, and new tires!
So naturally I want a place to ask questions and learn more about the truck, and found this great site. Thanks for having me!
