Icon14 K33F from Scotland

Hello from Sunny (not) Scotland. My name is Keith, or K33F on my numberplate. I have a 2003 4x4 Supercab Ranger. We often carry a demountable camper (Northstar 750) and so I have recently fitted air-assistance rear units. My truck gets used for all sorts of work, towing my workshop trailer, carrying roadstone, and especially off-road wild-camping with the demountable. So it earns its keep. Looking forward to taking part in this friendly forum.

Welcome Keith,

I'm pretty sure my family owns a castle in scotland..or maybe a mudhut. With the last name "Bruce" I at least deserve one.

Icon7 friendly

This sure is a friendly site.

My truck is a European spec turbo-diesel, "does that make me unclean"

I also get about 300 - 350 miles from about 60 litres of fuel.

I just upgraded my camper and the new one will catch more wind as its seven feet wide, so I will have to really take it easy to get good mileage on the next trip.

We're travelling down thru Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, into Italy. 2 weeks for the round trip. Probably doing too much, again.

I wonder what it would take to get one of those imported. 300 miles to 16 US Gal would be awesome in my ranger.

Probably 20 thousand dollars. Or more. If it's at all possible.

we could buy one in Russia, then drive it over the frozen bearing straits to Alaska! stop over and see Mrs. Palin. and drive on down to home.
