Nice work! What's the colour on the Mustang? I'm doing my '68 right now and it's pretty similar, it's a Canadian car too. It was well taken car of and it's not looking like I'll need to replace quite as much but still doing quarters, trunk and floors. Nothing lasts forever and 45 years will definitely take it's toll on some thin sheet metal!

I see a few small details similar to what I'm doing with mine - shaving the antenna, Ford on the front of the hood and side scoop trim. Do you have any pics from the back or did you change much? I'm going to take off the Mustang letters on the trunk lid, shave the reverse lights and probably the tail light chrome.

The back is mostly stock except theres not mustang letters on the decklid, as for deleting trim antenna and letters most of my parts were aftermarket (aftermarket sucks and requires lots of fitting and patience) they all came with no holes for trim letters or antenna

Thanks, I thought it looked familiar! That was one of the colours I was deciding on... pretty sure I'm going with 2013 Deep Impact Blue.

My trunk, hood and fenders seem to be solid so far so I'll be filling in all the holes. Probably less work than fitting aftermarket parts!

Yea stock or oem are always the best, when you fill the holes be sure to weld them shut do not fill with body filler then clean up the back side a little and put epoxy primer on the backside of all the welds to stop any rust down the road

You can smooth out with filler after it is welded just dont go filling holes with mud
