New member from SoCal

Hi, recently bought a used Ranger, came here to learn as much as I can to keep it running well. It's a 98, two wheel drive 4.0 liter. Seems to run well, but I think I may see a bit of a leak in the rear differential, so looking for info on that.

Here's a pic of the truck and a less happy pic of the differential, showing leakage; thing is, I'm not sure which fluid I'm supposed to use

It will tell what weight gear oil you need to use in the owner's manual.

The manual does say to use 80W90 fluid, but in reading elsewhere on the forum, some people suggested using 75W90, if I have a limited slip style.
Now I'm not sure which I should use.
