new to ranger...not to ford
hi my name is justin im from indy, indiana
i've been a ford fan since birth, racing (mostly drag) mustangs and ford fullsize trucks.
After i left home for college i decided to build a car from the dark side, but be unique at the same time... i know its wrong but it's super cool... a pontiac sunfire convertible. it's currently on bags and it's tubbed to lay on 22's (have 17x8 on now) i have a custom fiberglass ss style hood with reverse hood hinges. under the hood is a wire tucked 2.4 liter dohc. only performance mods right now are dual exhaust and a header. pics later...alright so my adhd has kicked in and im ready to get back to the trucking scene.
i bought a 92 ford ranger 2.3 5 speed short bed standard cab. rust free but a some spots above the left rear bedside. i plan to build/turbo the 2.3 or swap a strait 6 300 and a 5 speed with maybe a turbo. it will be body dropped 2.5 inches then bagged on 20's and 22's it will be paint matched to my dad's 65 mustang and his harley, silver on top and black on bottom with a white stripe that blends to airbrushed smoke at the back of the bed. of course shaved almost everything, custom interior and ect. just a one off show mini truck that's practical enough to drive every weekend.
i hope you are not like my sunfire cavalier forum (j-body.org) and don't bash me for fun. thanks (pics later)
