New Guy

Just a quick intro, Just purchased a slightly used 1997 Ford Ranger XL 3.0L 4x4 for vehicle for the wife to use during the week back and forth to work and me to use on weekends for dump runs and Home Depot Runs.

It has a couple minor problems like Door Ajar and Inst lights out. Already got ideas from Forum on how to attack those.

Thx for being here

Welcome Tom !
Door ajar problem most likely can be attributed to the door switch sensors
Try spraying WD-40 on the door switches
SPRAY ALOT!
It worked for me!

Thanks for the Welcome Guys, Door Ajar lite problem is fixed with the WD40 trick! Now to just get some time to attack the instrument cluster to replace some burn't out lamps
