hi everyone. my name is john im 21 years old and from central ny. i used to own a 95 ranger xlt 2.3l 5spd 2wd. i drove this truck for about 150k miles till it finally caught on fire of january this past year. the truck had over 300k on it when i drove it to the junkyard on 3 cylinders lol. well anyways im looking into getting a new ranger. well not new but 85-95. looking for another 2.3l 2wd 5 speed. ive got one i may buy if the guy can get the loan approved for his new truck. its a 95 flareside 2.3 with 108k on it. hopefully that all works out well.

i miss my old one. i have no need for the 6 cyl or 4wd really. if i can find a pic ill post it. it had 31 inch tires on it a visor and i had painted it a flat light olive color. with a set of tire chains and the diff lock that truck would go anywhere.

i think that i am going to look for a 1st gen 4wd 5 speed. i forgot they had the straight front axles not the independent suspension. found a couple of nice trucks on the pa craigslists hopefully i can pick one up.

1995 Ranger 2wd

think i found my truck. it isnt perfect but its in better shape than my old one started out in. going to check it out monday night if possible.

 

getting a 95 2wd 2.3l 5spd. same as my old truck. fenders doors and hood are pretty dented but i can get replacements cheap. its got 130 k on it. needs a brake caliper, pads, and a line from the master cylinder to the rear end.
