Hi my name is Zak. Ive been following this site for awhile, finally a member. I purchased my Black 1995 Ranger Supercab in 2002 with 89K mi. It is a 2WD 2.3 4-cyl. with a 5 gear stick, and now has nearly 200,000miles on it and still runs (4-cyl.)strong, uses NO oil. The engine is stock-untouched aside from aftermarket spark plugs and wires, timing belt, serpentine belt, all were replaced for P-M / reliability. K+N air filter, intake silencer removed, muffler removed and replaced with expansion/straight pipe (cat. conv. untouched). I Avg. 23MPG winter (warmups) and 26+MPG in summer. I have averaged a highest of 28.1MPG (speedlimit).
End of 2007 I replaced front coil springs + chopped a coil. Replaced rear leafspring shackles with factory FORD and I fabbed both rear shackle mounts.
The original shackles + hangers were rusted through, they were the most deteriorated parts of metal on the truck!
Soft tonnaou cover and modified plastic bedliner (for flush fitment of cover)
Stock grill, painted black and screened. Charcoal 4X4 valance W/fog lights.
