Hi, I'm the owner of a 1994 Ranger XLT 4X4--for a whole month now. I had to change the engine due to blown head gaskets and other damage and completed that last week. I am now finishing some of the peripheral repairs needed since the PO neglected it pretty badly. I look forward to learning how to deal with my Ranger and sharing things that may be helpful to others.
I removed my OEM cooling fan and replaced it with a Volvo 850 2 speed electric fan and shroud--just finished the wiring today. Eventually, I will install an automatic sensor in the metal tube on the thermostat housing to activate it, but for now it is on a switch.
