hi my name is craig.....I live in saint helens oregon....41 years old..... my history with rangers started when I bought an 88 reg cab 2wd s model... it was red, had gold modular wheels 2.0 4 cyl, 5 speed...owned it till 2003... put 3 different exhaust systems on it ( first a turbo muffler, then a glasspack, lastly a RAVIN performane muffler) replaced the gold mod wheels with chrome sawblades and a set or 235/60/14 roadhuggers...also put a MSD 6a ignition on it....I replaced the bench seat with some S10 blazer bucket seats I got for a steal.... found some seat tracks from a 60/40 split bench I found at the local pick n pull...grant gt steering wheel..... unfortunately it got broke into twice.. first time they broke the pass side window and got a cheap 35mm camera and an 8 ball shift **** for their trouble.. second time they pried the door lock out of the door and took the radio and speakers.. they destoyed the dash getting the radio... it also got ran into 3 times... twice in the LF and once I was rear ended...sold it when I got into 4x4s.....fast forward 10 years later and I needed to replace my daily driver because the transmission was starting to go, wanted to get a truck because getting family to help haul stuff was a pita... after some looking on craiglist I found that rangers and S10s were the only trucks I could get a running truck for the $1400 I had to spend...... picked this up for $1100

What made you decide on the wheel color choice?

 

its supposed to be a rat rod build..... I have named it the rustbucket rat.....it lived on the oregon coast for part of its life, so it has some rust issues.. I am also not working at the current time... it is a budget build.... would have done an offroad build if I could afford it
