Hey

Hey, I figured I would introduce myself. My name is Dylan, I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 liter v6 that is being a pain in my butt right now! I has a problem where I will get a mile or two down the road and it will be doing fine then all of the sudden the temp will drop I will get freezing cold air and then the temp will go all the way up and over heat and I will still have freezing cold air. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

Nope, but whats weird is it only happens when its cold. If it sits in our heated shop at 50 degrees it runs fine all day but if its below that it overheats.

Woo! The Ranger is back up and running! Had my uncle put in a new head gasket, He works for Ford but he did all the work on his own time. He did a power flush of the coolant, changed the water pump, changed the head gasket and it worked. He also put on new front brake pads cause they were extreamly low! Also new spark plugs and she's running like a champ!
