I bought my ranger a little over a year ago. It's a 99, 4.0, 4x4, manual. I love my truck and plan on keeping it as long as I can. I bought it with more miles than I ever thought I would by a vehicle, 180k and I'm about to hit 200k. But it was owned by a fellow pilot who was an old man and babied the hell out of it.
I joined the forum to get some ideas on how to build it. I'm a young electrician so I keep a lot of tools in it, but I love camping and fishing so I keep a lot of gear too. I put a double-din touchscreen radio for movies on long road trips, I don't watch while driving don't worry I close my eyes.
Looking for ideas on cab storage as well as bed storage that won't short the bed any as I camp in it with a twin mattress that is a tight fit without a box already.
All in all utility is my goal. Lots of mud and camping. I would like to be prepared for most work or play that may come my way. In the future I may do a 5.0 swap and a 4" lift on 33's or 35's but that's WWAAYYY down the line. There's 2 rangers in my town with Isuzu diesel conversions and 1 with a 5.0 I believe so it's fiesable.
