Icon5 San Diego Guys, Questions?

Hey San Diego guys,
I just have a few questions for ya. I *might* be going to San Diego State next semester, I'm looking into it at the moment. Is there "cheap" housing out there, like 1br apartment rentals that you'd know about, all I see are mad expensive ones. Any of you guys need a roomate? How's the lifestyle? Are there small jobs ($8/hr-15/hr) to be had? I'm doing as much searching as possible, but I want to skip the varied random internet responses and want direct opinions. Not only would I be going to school there, I'd more than likely pick up everything of mine, which isnt much, and drive out. Any suggestions? I'm at that point in life where I don't know what to do. Staying in PA and/or joining the military are two other options, but, to be honest, I don't want to do either, though I have to consider both. Thanks.

- Steve

I did it so it would come over the main page, hoping more people from the area would see it Marcus. I'm trying to make my decision by Sunday what I want to do over this next year or so, and trying to get as many responses/opinions as possible. I know a lot of guys tend to just refresh the home page, and not go look into certain sections.....figured this would be the best way.

I mean, if its a big deal it could always be moved...

Umm let me see if i can answer some of your questions. I was too tired last night.

BTW SDSU is a great school i went there for a year. I dont know about the housing, hence i lived 20 minutes away from the school, and i still live with my parents.

Id be willing to be you could find a decent job

Thats all i got. Plus SD you get perfect weather all year round, for the most part.

1 br apt. will be expensive. Best to get some roomies. Should be able to find a job for around 8 an hour down there.
