My backing plate is rusted out on my right rear wheel. I have been told from ford that there is not a single one to be found in the country. Apparently they have a tendency of rusting and had to replace more then they had made. So basically they told me I'm out of luck. Does anyone have any alternative I can try? Seems rediculous that because of a $50.00 part my truck is junked.

 

Junkyard, there are brazilians of 8.8s out there!

 

Believe it or not can't find one anywhere in my area that's not also rusted.

 

Harry's will have one, just gotta pull it yourself. i pulled a few from the Hazleton location once, a LONG time ago visiting Centralia with other Rangers.....back in the "Good ole' days"!
