Hello all. I'll keep this brief since I just typed a long witty intro & somehow it vanished, ugh. Two months ago I bought a 99 ranger sport. It's a 2wd , 2.5L 5spd. After getting it I found ranger-forums.com & wow! Perfect. I've done a few mods using the info in stickys & other postings including gutter guard for the grill, expo seats & console, 06+ side mirrors, factory tach with odometer swap, color matched emblems, figured largest tire size using info here & went up to 265 75 16 on stock suspension.

I chose the Ranger because over the years the family has had a couple & I'm pretty familiar with wrenching on them (easiest way to change a fuel pump? Remove the bed) & I've had a 72 & 73 f250 and a 92 f150 that I owned for years as well as Ford cars, I even owned a Lincoln town car at one point so I know how Ford thinks. Plus I know from experience these rangers will go on forever with proper maintenance. All of this coupled with a $2200 price tag made this little red ranger mine.

Anyway that's it in a nutshell, if anyone out there has a cool mod they've done or a handy trick for being cool let me know. I'll now attempt to post some pics for everyone, keep your fingers crossed.
