New from pa

Well i have a dodge durango with body kit, viper hood wheels but i was just given a 1990 ford ranger 2wd for free very clean my grandpa owned it and it has the 4.0 in it. So anyone can help me with some ideas. I want to see if they make cowl hoods looking into getting the billet grill and roll pan. Im looking into also lifting it at least 7 inches to fit some 33s so it can handle the winter better with some bigger tires. Any other ideas or mods would be helpful thanks.

Welcome to R-F! You wont need to lift it 7" just to clear 33's just so you know.

Howdy. You definitely don't need 7" to clear 33's, but go ahead and get that 7" of lift and toss some 35's on there. Welcome to the site. Pics. of the Ranger and Durango are a must.

33s will fit stock height, but rub pretty bad. Mines 3in BL'd with 33s and no rub. But If you wheel and have money, get a suspension lift. They're better.

Thanks, Well with it being two wheel drive i wanted to at least clear some 33s or 35s for in the winter time. The added weight of the tires and a good traction and a little wait in the back it shouldnt have any problems. Its hard to find some 1990 parts i been looking for a cowl hood for it. And im still debating on what tails to get because it is silver with the red rocker i was thinking of going with the black tailights. Any suggestions i would apperciate and i dont have pictures of the ranger yet but ill put the durango ones up.
