Hello!!!
My name is Jamie and obviously I'm a newb here. I just recently purchased a 98 4x4 ranger that is a reg. cab long bed 4.0l and auto. This is actually my 4th ranger. The 1st one was a 96 and I owned a 2006 but it got stolen. I've already found great information on here such as the door ajar problem. WD-40 fix all that! My plans are to buy the RCD 5" lift kit and different wheels and tires. As for now I was thinking about leveling it out by crankin on my torsion bars but a friend of mine said his dad did that to a silverado and every time he put it in 4 wheel drive both front tires torqued inwards. Is that gonna happen to mine?
Thanks alot, Jamie
Thanks alot, Jamie

Thanks, I got a good deal on it. It only has 58,000 miles and i got it for $6,000. It needs a new windsheild and the tailgate handle is rusted on the inside and it broke off on one side. It still opens but I'm gonna fix it when it warms up again. The torsion bar thing still kinda scares me though. Oh and I need a new factory radio so if anyone has one cheap let me know mine is shot.

taking the mud flaps off will leave holes in the fender flares look into getting 2001+ fender flares they have no mud flaps and go right into your old holes...
and in time look into replacing the PVH with Manual one's from AVM. if there still working now, no worries but in time they will take a dive...
also on the T-bars chevy is a little different. no worries on the ranger. only thing is its recommended to just get an alignement after thats all!
enjoy it here..
