what? length x width x height

8' long x 4" wide x 2" tall

place the other 2x4 on top of it.

length does not change, width does not change, only the height 2 + 2 = 4

I guess you could nail it together and make a 2"x8" but there are no other configurations that i can think of to get a 4x8 ? with only 2 2x4s

Or better yet, put three of them together.. cmon 6x4!!!!.. or you can do that, then put one on top of those, and get a 6x6! Oh gosh, I've got some plans now... give me about a week guys, I'm gonna build a crazy son-of-a-bish !!!! Wakka Wakka!

if you add another to a 6x4 that would be an 8x4... still not possible to make a 6x6...

only way to make a 6x6 is take the 4x4(which is 2- 2x4s) and slap a 2x4 to the side of it. to make a 6x6...

Ahh thats what I meant.. top/side.. same difference -laughs-

But a 6x6 would make an excellent off road entertainment.. in fact.. we can put a few bolts on the front and use a big tow rope, then strap it behind an actual 4x4 to really get'er going!
