"Hide a Hitch" for a Body Lifted Ranger
I have been looking at getting a rear hitch but im not a fan on the gap between the bar and bumper on body lifter trucks. I was looking at a hidden hitch. http://www.autoanything.com/towing/6...&from_search=1
Think it will fix the gap problem?

If he is part of a welders union i would imagine he can fab you up some nice hide a hitch..
hell if i knew him i would be getting a custom exhaust done, some badass skid plates.. custom ramming bars with a powder coat.. what i would give to have A. owner a welder and B. know how to use it.

Why dont you just do the body lift hitch mod?
I know your worried about cutting it and having it rewelded, but like posted if its done properly it will work fine. Actually alot of people, just for extra insurance, the middle section that they cut out they just end up reusing. They place it back over top as on overlap and drill a hole through it all. Then they get some heavy duty hardware, (grade 8, etc) and bolt it through, as well as weld the overlap plate too. If its done that way, and is welded properly, there is no way it could be weaker than the stock hitch.
