King ranch seats in a ranger

Ok, I work at a local salvage yard my uncle owns, and i have been looking for some explorer seats to pull to put it my truck. today i was out on the forklift and saw some nice leather seats in a f-150 king ranch super crew. my question is will they fit in my 01 ex. cab w/o major mods? Also I picked up a white face gauge cluster out of a sport trac. will post pics when i get it done. but will the fit????

you'll have to host the pics somewhere else like photobucket and then put the location in the post between the image tags, If you use photobucket you can just copy the one that has the tags already on there

Mounting the seats will be the most difficult. If the seats are the 40/40 with the center console then they may fit, just not with a console. The seats are broad and deep so you wil lose what little extra cab you have. I would say your best option may be to get some nice explorer seats and then to have them reapolstered in the King Ranch leather. An automotive apolstery shop should be able to get the raw leather.

Thats a pretty cool idea

Keep your eyes open for explorer overhead consoles. There are always people interested in those here.

well, I didn't get the king ranch seats. but i did get some nice 98 tan eddie bauer seats, and center console. After installing them, i didnt really like not having the extra floor space taken up by the console. but i don't like not having an armrest when i took it out. so i may go back to my stock seats, and just find a custom seat cover. anyone want to buy the explorer seats and center console? all tan and in great shape. e- mail for pictures. Sureshot8907@yahoo.com

don't have much money in them , so make a offer. will probably be for pick-up only, or will meet close by.

Why not use a stock ranger center console it doesn't go past the seat.

Finding a short length console shouldn't be hard.

If you get them to fit, you have to make a post on how to do that. That would be sooooo coool. I sat in a king ranch and I loved it.

Really I guess all you have to do is 1. take the seat and bolt them to the ranger seat mount or 2. make the KR seat mount, mount in the ranger. One of the two can't be two hard maybe a little welding.
