first of all i wanna thank everyone who inputs on my questions ive owned quite a few trucks 4 being rangers and never have found a forum so knowledgable that gets along so well (for the most part) most forums are pissing matches about whos truck is better stronger etc...
now onto my question a did the airbox mod and a kn drop in i wanna know if i should excpect a difference if i dremmel off the side of the airbox facing the front?

You will get more noise and more horsepower robbing hot air.

 

Not really, you might get a noise change but I doubt you'll get anything power wise. I opened mine up in my 04 ranger and didn't notice any difference but it did allow a lot more water to get inside. Almost hydro locked the engine because of it once, not fun.
